SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Eric Electronics is currently looking
for a qualified individual with experience in sales of
passive components.
Summary:
The Field Sales Representative's primary
function is to develop and maintain their account base while
utilizing the highest level of customer service
skills..
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Develop new business and generate &
maintain profitable sales levels in a defined territory.
Coordinate sales efforts with inside sales
and provide flow of data on accounts, competitors and
suppliers to product information.
Negotiate with representatives and customers
on pricing, lead-time, order volume and technical issues.
Provide Product Management with quote
information, product quantities needed and booked
orders.
Follow-up with customers, purchasing
manufacturers, representatives and Eric employee's on sales
information requests.
Become familiar with our many products and
services including concepts pertaining to product,
technologies, applications and general engineering terms.
Call on customers, provide product
information and quote appropriate customer prices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or
university; or two to three years related experience and/or
training; or equivalent combination of education and
experience.
General knowledge and experience working with
industry standard word processing, spreadsheet and database
software.
Qualifications
including these abilities:
Read and interpret general business
periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or
governmental regulations.
Write reports, business correspondence and
procedure manuals.
Effectively present information and respond to
questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the
general public.
Calculate figures such as discounts, interest,
commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and
volume.
Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Solve practical problems and deal with a
variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited
standardization exists.
Interpret a wide variety of instructions
furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Process data and perform simple analyses.
